Rachel and I hadn't seen each other since 2017 - an almost unforgivable sin - so we decided that the best way to ask forgiveness2 was for Jon to take a trip to St. Paul, Minnesota to see her in her new digs. I would say something meaningful like "it had been so long that we decided I should write about it", but to be honest, any time I see Rachel, it's worth writing about.
So we decided I should write about it.
